FAQ/Frequently asked questions:Q: Why choose products from the Schuette pleated blind and roller blind factory?
A: Because, like the Schuette family, you don't want to have to spend 30 minutes assembling a bad roller blind kit and you value quality, your time and your home ❤
Q: how is this blind mounted? Does it need to be drilled or can it be pinched?
A: Schuette roller blinds can be pinched onto the window frame or screwed on. Each roller blind comes with all the necessary components for both types of installation.
Q: How deep should my window frame be if I want to clamp the blind?
A: If you want to mount your Schuette® blind without drilling or with the enclosed clip-on brackets, the rebate thickness (frame thickness without sealing rubber) of your window should not exceed 19-29 mm.
Q: My window pane is 80.2 cm wide and the window frame is 169 cm high. The distance between the window pane and the window handle is 7 cm. What size should I choose?
A: 85 cm x 230 cm. 85 cm wide, because when the roller blind protrudes, the clearance between the window pane and the roller blind is reduced and the window handle is far enough away so that it does not interfere. For the height, always take the next highest height, because the extra material is rolled up and does not disturb.
Q: Is it possible to look inside the flat from outside at night with the light on?
A: No! Of course, we thought of this very situation when designing our thermal roller blind fabric. Schuette thermal blackout roller blinds are 100% "opaque".
