Freely selectable installation method (Suprafix clamp brackets + Suprafix screw brackets always included). Intelligent chain pull guide (no tearing & no blocking of the cord). Schuette® roller blinds are pre-assembled on a support profile for easy attachment with a clip to the wall, ceiling or window frame/sash. (No! tedious measuring and aligning of mounting brackets & also No! lengthy assembly of many individual parts necessary!), because we value your time & your home!
  • Measuring instructions: The width ordered is the actual fabric width. The strap at the top protrudes 1.7 cm over the fabric on the left and 1.7 cm on the right (see pictures). The fabric may be a few centimeters wider than your window glass. However, when fitting to the window sash, please pay attention to the width of the window handle so that it does not get in the way when the blind is moved. We recommend a distance of 1 cm from the window handle. For the height, please measure the entire area to be covered.
  • Quick and easy installation: Whether you want to clamp or screw on your new Schuette® roller blind, you can expect a quick and easy installation, as you are buying an original Schuette® roller blind pre-assembled on a bracket and not a model kit as with other suppliers. If you want to install your Schuette® roller blind without drilling or with the enclosed clamps, the rebate thickness (frame thickness without rubber seal) of your window must not exceed 15-24mm.
  • Fabric properties: Stripes alternately transparent and 100% opaque! Day & night function allows any amount of light. Roller blind light values explained by colour

The fabrics are determined by 3 basic parameters. The sum of light transmission, light reflection and light absorption is always 100% and refers to the light and solar energy that passes through your window pane.

Light permeability / light transmission

Describes the penetration of light through the fabric (the lower the percentage value, the less light and heat passes through the fabric into the room, i.e. the darker the room is)

Light reflection

Describes the reflection of sunlight to the outside (the higher the value, the more light the fabric reflects. The more light and heat a fabric reflects, the less enters the room.)

Light absorption

Describes the light absorbed by the fabric and converted into heat energy (the higher the value, the more heat the fabric absorbs. The absorbed heat is then gradually released back into the room by the fabric)

Schuette® Silencio roller blind chain system

Thanks to our patented Schuette® Silencio chain-operated guide, the roller blinds can be adjusted continuously and safely. This guarantees smooth and precise light control.

The name Silencio says it all here, as moving the fabric is whisper quiet.

Continuously adjustable

With a gentle pull on the beaded roller blind chain, the roller blind fabric can be moved precisely and to the millimetre, without tearing or jamming.

Note:

For roller blinds with a height from 105 cm upwards, the beaded chain is supplied in a length of 100 cm (100 cm chain loop = 200 cm total length).
For an ordered roller blind height of up to 105 cm, a 75 cm chain loop is supplied.
On request we can include a 125 cm loop. Please enter this in the shopping basket if required.

For high ceilings:

It is possible to receive a chain (no continuous loop) with a total length of 400 cm and to form a 200 cm loop using the supplied chain connector. However, in this case the roller blind may not be able to be fully unrolled because of the chain connector. The chain can also be shortened in order to obtain a completely individual chain length/chain loop.

Roller blind fixing

Fixing options for roller blinds & Double Roller Blindss

When you order a Schuette® roller blind, you don’t need to worry about the type of installation, as you receive two fixing options in one delivery! Both the Suprafix clamp bracket and the Suprafix clip screw bracket are included with every roller blind delivered.

  • Interchangeable at any time: If required, quickly & conveniently switch between clamping installation and screw installation.
  • Suitable for 95% of all window types: from narrow to wide windows, from uPVC to wooden windows & even for fixed, rigid windows and doors!
  • Flexible installation: The brackets can be distributed across the entire support profile and thus attached at any desired position on the window. Optimal for windows with scissor stay or another mechanism behind the recess.

Fixing roller blinds without Drilling: Schuette® Suprafix clamp brackets

The Schuette® Suprafix clamp brackets for mounting roller blinds without Drilling on the window sash are supplied including adhesive pads, ensuring a secure and firm hold of your clamp-mounted roller blinds. The clamp brackets are simply slid onto the headrail and hooked over the top of the window sash rebate.

Fixing roller blinds With Drilling: Schuette® Suprafix clip screw brackets

In addition, your roller blind also comes with our clip screw brackets. These are suitable for mounting the roller blind With Drilling on the ceiling, wall and in the window recess. Simply position the two clips, screw them in place and then click the headrail into the clips.

Finding the right roller blind dimensions – our guide

Schuette® Day & Night Double Roller Blinds are Made to Measure and are mounted with 2 clamp brackets or 2 screw brackets. When installing, you have many options: from installation on the window frame or on the window sash through to installation on the wall, ceiling or in the window recess.
Measuring for your Schuette® Made to Measure roller blind is very simple for all types of installation:

Width

Glass width including rubber seal + 1 to 3 cm (per side)

Height

Please measure the entire area to be covered

Attention:

The ordered width is the actual fabric width. The headrail at the top projects approx. 1,7 cm beyond the fabric on the left and 1,7 cm on the right (see images). When installing on the window sash, please take the window handle into account when choosing the width so that it does not get in the way when moving the roller blind. We recommend a distance of 0,5 to 1,0 cm from the window handle.

How is this roller blind installed? Do you have to drill or can you clamp?

Schuette roller blinds can be clamped or screwed to the window frame. Every roller blind comes with all the necessary parts for both types of installation.

How deep may my window frame be if I want to clamp the roller blind?

If you would like to install your Schuette® roller blind without drilling or with the enclosed clamp brackets, the rebate thickness (frame thickness without sealing rubber) of your window must not exceed 13-25mm.

My window glass is 80,2cm wide and the window frame is 169cm high. The distance from the window glass to the window handle is 7cm. What size should I choose?

85cm x 230cm. 85cm in width, because if the roller blind protrudes, the light gap between the window glass and the roller blind is reduced and the window handle is far enough away so that it doesn't interfere. For the height, always take the next higher height, because the additional material is rolled up and is not disturbing.

Is it possible to look into the apartment from outside at night with the lights on?

No! Of course we have thought of this situation when we designed our day and night roller blind fabric. Schuette roller blinds are 100% "opaque". With light colors you can only see rough shadows when you look into them from the outside.

What is the height of the rolled up roller blind when mounted upside down on the ceiling?

If you mount the roller blind upside down on the ceiling, it is approx. 53mm high when it is rolled up.

Can the mountings withstand roller blinds with large dimensions?

Yes. All our mountings are regularly tested and are designed to work properly even at the maximum dimensions.

How can I place an order?

To place an order, use the configurator on our website and add your custom blind to the shopping cart. The last step is to pay for your order. We will take care of the rest.

What does the roller blind set include?

The delivery includes the roller blind, the fasteners, a chain fastener for the wall, installation instructions and an invoice sent by mail.

What material is the fabric made of?

The fabrics are made of 100% polyester. All fabrics are Oekotex certified.

Are roller blinds suitable for the bathroom or kitchen?

Our roller blind fabrics can be used in wet rooms.

Do I need additional help with the assembly of roller blinds?

The assembly is simple, the roller blinds are pre-assembled as much as possible and can be quickly installed. In addition, the delivery includes installation instructions. If you need additional help, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service.

Can I get fabric samples?

Yes, just contact our customer service. The samples are free of charge.

How long is the roller blind chain?

This depends on the chosen roller blind height. Up to an ordered height of 105cm you will receive a chain in a length of 75cm. Otherwise, the chain loop will be delivered in 100cm. If needed, a loop in 125cm is also possible or a loose chain in 400cm, which can be converted to a 200cm loop with a chain connector and shortened beforehand if needed. The latter we ask to enter in the comment field at the bottom of the shopping cart, so that our production can consider your request.
