Meetinstructies: a) Montage aan een stang: Hoogte = vanaf de vloer tot aan de bovenrand van de gordijnstang, plus minimaal 2 cm zodat het gordijn licht over de vloer strijkt; b) Montage met klemmen: Hoogte = vanaf de vloer tot het punt waar de klem de stof bovenaan vastpakt; c) Montage met haken: Hoogte = vanaf de vloer tot de gordijnhaak + 2 / 4 / 6 cm (de gewenste hoeveelheid stof boven de haak) × Breedte = (te bedekken breedte) × 2. Curtain light values explained by colour

The fabrics are determined by 3 basic parameters. The sum of light transmission, light reflection and light absorption is always 100% and refers to the light and solar energy that passes through your window pane.

Light permeability / light transmission

Describes the penetration of light through the fabric (the lower the percentage value, the less light and heat passes through the fabric into the room, i.e. the darker the room is)

Light reflection

Describes the reflection of sunlight to the outside (the higher the value, the more light the fabric reflects. The more light and heat a fabric reflects, the less enters the room.)

Light absorption

Describes the light absorbed by the fabric and converted into heat energy (the higher the value, the more heat the fabric absorbs. The absorbed heat is then gradually released back into the room by the fabric)

Simple & concealed: The hooks, gliders or rings of the track system are hooked into the curtain tape. The tape is not visible from the front.
Dimensionally stable for immaculate pleats: The high strength of the tunnel heading tape ensures a consistently smart and upright arrangement of the top edge, without creasing, sagging or revealing the fixings.
Easily adjustable: The height of the curtain can still be adjusted during installation thanks to the 3 different hook-in positions.
Length of curtain and drapery poles: We recommend allowing an overhang of at least 20-30 cm on each side of the window opening so that the curtain later hangs neatly at the sides and achieves optimum blackout performance for the room. (Example: 240-260 cm long pole for a 200 cm wide window opening).

a) Rod mounting

Width

(area to be covered) x 2. Then divide the resulting measurement by the required number of panels.

Height

Height from the floor to the top edge of the curtain rod + 2 cm.
Add 2 cm to the measured height to allow for the fabric above the loops and to avoid a curtain that is too short.

b) Clip mounting

Width

(area to be covered) x 2. Then divide the resulting measurement by the required number of panels.

Height

From the floor to the track - x

x – the distance from the track to approximately the centre of the curtain clip (i.e. the point where the clip grips the fabric)

c) Hook mounting

Width

(area to be covered) x 2. Then divide the resulting measurement by the required number of panels.

Height

From the floor to the curtain hook + 2 / 4 / 6 cm (desired fabric overhang). The intended fabric overhang is a guideline. Exactly how much extends above the curtain hooks depends on the hooks and the type of installation.

Example for the width:

150 cm x 2 = 300 cm. For two curtain panels 300 : 2 = 150 cm per panel; for three curtain panels 300 : 3 = 100 cm per panel, etc.

Good to know:

In the measuring guide mentioned above, the height is always measured in the same way, even for different widths. The curtain reaches the floor in this case. If a different length is preferred and the panel should not touch the floor but, for example, only reach the window sill, the height should be measured from the top edge of the curtain rod to the desired position and specified accordingly.
