- Measuring instructions: The width ordered is the actual fabric width. The strap at the top protrudes 1.7 cm over the fabric on the left and 1.7 cm on the right (see pictures). The fabric may be a few centimeters wider than your window glass. However, when fitting to the window sash, please pay attention to the width of the window handle so that it does not get in the way when the blind is moved. We recommend a distance of 1 cm from the window handle. For the height, please measure the entire area to be covered.
- Quick and easy installation: Whether you want to clamp or screw on your new Schuette® roller blind, you can expect a quick and easy installation, as you are buying an original Schuette® roller blind pre-assembled on a bracket and not a model kit as with other suppliers. If you want to install your Schuette® roller blind without drilling or with the enclosed clamps, the rebate thickness (frame thickness without rubber seal) of your window must not exceed 15-24mm.
- Fabric properties: Stripes alternately transparent and 100% opaque! Day & night function allows any amount of light. Light transmission: medium, slightly darkening, vibrant colors & fabrics specially developed for roller blinds (UV protection -> no rapid fading). - Day & night function: With day & night roller blinds, two layers of fabric, each with opaque and transparent stripes, provide a partial view to the outside or darken the room and create privacy. With these roller blinds, you can easily adjust the amount of light and the degree of privacy thanks to the interplay of the alternating transparent and opaque stripes. Our Day & Night fabric quality is available in 14 trendy colors.

Schuette® day&night roller blinds - for your living comfort.
Schuette® Day&Night roller blinds are based on a combination of two overlapping fabrics: an opaque fabric and a translucent mesh fabric. Depending on the positioning of the fabric layers in relation to each other, full or partial light incidence is achieved. The roller blind can also be pulled up to let the light in from below or rolled up completely to achieve a full light effect. When the roller blind is rolled up and down, the fabric layers overlap exactly, resulting in perfect opacity.
The roller blind chain is supplied in a length of 100cm. This is a chain loop that hangs down 100cm and therefore has a total length of 200cm. If the roller blind height ordered is up to 105cm, a 75cm long chain loop is supplied. If required, we can add a 125cm long loop. If you would like this, please enter this in the comments field at the bottom of the shopping basket. Our production department will take this into account for you.
We also have a chain (not a continuous loop) with a total length of 400cm, whereby the ends are connected with a chain connector to create a 200cm long loop. However, it is possible that the roller blind cannot be rolled out completely due to the chain connector, as the chain connectors do not fit through the chain mechanism. However, this solution is suitable for high ceilings where it would not be possible to operate the roller blinds with shorter chains. If required, you can shorten this chain at your own risk and thus obtain a chain length/chain loop of your choice.

Mounting options
Not sure which mounting option is best for you? When you order a Schuette® roller blind, you don't have to worry because you get two fixing options in one delivery!
Both the Suprafix clamp bracket and the Suprafix clip screw bracket are included with every roller blind supplied. This means you can quickly and easily switch between the two mounting options at any time. Brackets for 95% of all window types - from narrow to wide windows and from plastic to wooden windows. There is something for everyone. Even for rigid, fixed windows and doors!
If you have even more individual configuration requests, please feel free to contact us. We will do everything we can to realise them. Do you think installation is not possible for you? - Write to us and send us pictures of your windows. We (almost) always find a solution!
Schuette® Suprafix clamp brackets (incl. adhesive pads)
- The Schuette® Suprafix clamp brackets for mounting roller blinds on window sashes are supplied with adhesive pads to ensure that your roller blinds are held securely and firmly in place.
- We have designed the brackets to be as universal as possible and they are adjustable from 15-24 mm.
- They are made of a strong and stable plastic to prevent the brackets from breaking or bending. The clamp brackets are simply pushed onto the support profile and placed over the top of the window sash rebate. For the best hold, the holders can be fixed in place with the adhesive pads.
- Thanks to the flexible design of the roller blind on the carrier profile, the clamp brackets can be attached anywhere on the window sash. This means you can also use the clip brackets if your window has a scissor stay or other mechanism behind the rebate.
Schuette® Suprafix clip screw brackets (incl. screws)
- In addition to the clamp brackets, you will also receive our clip screw brackets with your roller blind. These are suitable for mounting the roller blind on the ceiling, wall and in the window recess.
- Simply place the two clips in position and screw them tight. The support profile on which the roller blind is mounted serves as an alignment aid. You can then simply click the support profile into the clips and the roller blind will hang.

The roller blind fabrics are determined by 3 basic parameters:
Light transmission - the penetration of light through the fabric (the lower the percentage value, the less light and heat passes through the fabric into the room, i.e. the darker it is in the room).
Light reflection - the reflection of sunlight to the outside (the higher the value, the more light the fabric reflects. The more light and heat a fabric reflects, the less enters the room).
Light absorption - the light absorbed by the fabric and converted into thermal energy (the higher the value, the more heat the fabric absorbs. The absorbed heat is then released back into the room over a period of time)
The sum of light transmission, light reflection and light absorption is always 100% and refers to the light and solar energy that your window pane lets through. To find the most suitable colour for your home, you can order fabric samples via our customer service.
Finding the right dimensions - our guide
Schuette® roller blinds are fitted with 2 clamp brackets or 2 screw brackets. You have many options for installation: from installation on the window frame or on the window sash to installation on the wall, ceiling or in the window recess. Measuring is very easy for all types of installation - here are the measuring instructions for your Schuette® roller blind:
- Width = glass width including rubber seal + 1 to 3 cm (per side)
- Height = For the height, please measure the entire area to be covered.
Please note: The width ordered is the actual fabric width. The bracket at the top protrudes 1.7 cm over the fabric on the left and 1.7 cm on the right (see pictures). When fitting to the window sash, however, please pay attention to the width of the window handle so that it is not in the way when the blind is moved. We recommend a distance of 0.5 to 1.0 cm from the window handle.
